Seniors Life Centre relies on the generous support of donors like you to make the lives of vulnerable seniors a little bit easier. Big or small, every donation counts. Together we can make a powerful difference!
A few amazing reasons to donate to Seniors Life Centre:
- Our organization is completely volunteer run. Less than 5% of our total revenues go to administrative costs.
- Your donation is tax-deductible. We issue a tax receipt for every donation of $20 or more.
- Most importantly, your donation will make a positive impact in the lives of vulnerable seniors, helping ensure their basic needs are met, improving their quality of life and helping us to build a permanent home for them!

Give by mail (Cheque)
Please make your cheque payable to Seniors Life Centre and mail it to the Attn. of Marlene Nelson, Fundraising Coordinator, at 1621 Bowness Rd NW, Calgary AB T2N 3K1.
Matching gifts
Many employers match the donations made by their current and retired employees, which increases the impact of your gift to Seniors Life Centre. Please talk to your company to inquire about the process and contact our Fundraising Coordinator, Marlene Nelson, to finalize the details at fundraising@seniorslifecentre.org.
Skip the Depot
Hauling all those bottles and containers to the depot isn’t easy for everyone. We encourage you to sign up with Skip the Depot at skipthedepot.com, book a date for a free, contactless, home pickup, choose Seniors Life Centre as your favourite charity, and the profits will be donated. The money raised from the bottle drive will be spent on charitable programs that support vulnerable seniors. Give in memory of a loved one
Honour a loved one by financially supporting a vulnerable senior via Seniors Life Centre. When we receive a donation in memoriam, we will send a thank you letter to you or to the family of the person you donated in memoriam.
Fundraise on your birthday
Engage your family, friends, and contacts to help you fundraise money to make a difference in the lives of vulnerable seniors on your birthday, by creating an online fundraiser.
There are many options to choose from:
- Create a Facebook fundraiser
- Create a GoFundMe fundraiser
- Create a CanadaHelps Fundraiser.

Hosting a box
Host a box at your store, home or workplace, where people can leave coins and change.
Hosting an Event
Host an event such as a golf tournament, a dinner party, a walk/run, garage or yard sale!
